Here's another one of my Video Game All Stars, a buffed up Helghast Trooper from Killzone 2. I've done a few of these guys so far since I get so many requests for them. This one was made with a modified cast head of a Sigma 6 Iron Grenadier and Leatherneck body. I sculpted the front pouches and installed the light-up system in his eyes using clear acrylic rods inset into the head. A booklight 'backpack' provides the batteries and on/off switch so the eyes stay lit as long as it's switched on.

Man that Red Shadow is PERFECT! Just plain art right there man.

Workmanship on Redfield is top notch, but not a big fan of Resident Evil so I can't get that into the character.

The Helghast is spot on and I'm impressed that it was all Joe parts and not a cast head.

If I had access to enough Resolute troopers to pull a fair amount off, I'd so steal that Red Shadow recipe. Great work as always, though I must say I'd prefer a faceplate design closer to the original Shadows over what you've got. Amazing regardless.

I agree about the Red Shows but this is a great take on a more real world version.

Redfield, is just superb. Great parts choices. Really slick looking.

The work on Killzone 2 is mind boggling. I know those parts, and I don't recognize them at all. The only nit pick I have is that you should have painted the acrylic rods a little closer to the eyes so you wouldn't get as much light projection down on the neck. The light will travel through the rod regardless of the paint on the outside. That is a very minor nitpick considering the effect is still awesome and the fact you made it work.

And the RE hits just keep comeing I love them. I really like the Red Shadow trooper as well, I gotta chime with everyone else about more of a real world take. Great job. I haven't played Killzone but I see the tv ads a lot and this one looks spot on, and a plus for sigma stylin' it.

I hear you about the eyes. That's actually coming from under the helmet. Even after 6 coats of black paint the LED is still so bright it shines through the plastic. It's basically tucked under his chin. I'll see about using fixit next time to adhere it up there and totally cover it.
