  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

You knew it was going to happen sooner or later. It was just a matter of time. I figured I'd try to be one of the first. So here it is. The new Resolute Jet Pack Duke turned into Barrel Roll. I used the v.1 Spy Troops version as my inspiration though I used a more subtle blue than that figure. The helmet fits the head just as well as it does the Duke head and honestly looks pretty good. I'm quite pleased with how he came out.

I'm really hoping this figure catches General Hawk's attention and makes his Kick-Ass Custom of the Week cuz I know how much he like the Stall family.

Head: Broken Arrow Toys cast
Torso, arms, helmet, jet pack, parachute: 25th Resolute Duke v.2 (jet pack)
Legs: 25th Comic Pack Ace
Rifle: Marauder Inc XM-8

Way to Chad-Matt me, Chris - I have this exact same custom on my desk right now.

Well, not exactly the same ..... I just put BR's head on the Duke fig...... and I didn't repaint the uniform or anything.... but I DID paint the forearms & neck a darker shade to match BR's head, so.... :P


Looks great, man -- makes me want to put a coat of sky-blue on mine :D

good stuff, but to make him classic BR, you gotta give him a sniper rifle, which is just insane for a guy with a jetpack to be a sniper, but big H, gotta love it, :)

heads are coming along nicely man.
