Ah, another arctic vehicle custom. How I love arctic vehicles. This was supposed to be a simple repaint but the white paint I was using just would not cover even after 4 coats. So I bought some light gray (which will be used on another custom) and it covered fine. The gray gives it a worn look that I really like.

i did something similar to an oldschool hawk, but man that 25th looks soo much better, they need wider release.

Agreed. Looks factory made, and your pilot is neat, too. The only thing I would consider is maybe some kind of face covering for him.

so any problems with pilot fit? I heard a few guys complain that the cockpit was too small for the 25th bodies.

Nice job on the Snow Hawk, but it does need touching up on the nose of the canopy.

That's where the masking tape didn't cover completely and it's overspray. I considered sanding it off but I like the look of it. I think of it as ice that has built up on the glass.

No problems with the figure fitting. His head sits back a bit further than I'd like but as you can see in the pics he fits just fine.

Kilcarr - if he was a standard Snow Joe I'd think about a scarf or mask but since he's in a cockpit most of the time I didn't see the need.

Glad you guys like 'em!

Niiiiiice! As I've said many times, snow customs are just awesome by default.

Very cool. This actually makes sense for a role for the Sky Hawk. It is on skis to begin with and could easily glide across the snow, possibly easier than it could fly. I could never understand how it actually flew anyway. I like color and it does have a worn look to it. The pilot is a nice new character, a mask is not necessary in my opinion, especially with the closed cabin of the 25th version.

Although I despise you for just finding a new Sky Hawk to customize, that's great work! ;-)

The pilot is equally good.

I actually preordered 3 when they first came out.

Glad you approve... mostly ;)

These are both really nice MS. The pilot is a nice complimentary figure, but the Snow Hawk itself steals the show. Very realistic paint apps, and as said above, a perfect role for that vehicle.
