  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

Okay this NJC inspired me to take a crack at my favorite late 80's early 90's DC comic relief. I started with just Beetle because I had a pretty good idea for the googles I had been wanting to try for awhile and Booster I had to do because you can't just have one of the pair! With Booster I kind of did a hybrid of the 80's coloring where it was more yellow than gold but without the collar.

Great job on both. Gotta believe these would have been major contenders in the njc. Love the beetle especially. Fantastic paint job. Great use of serpentor head. Looks spot on. Like the Booster alot too. Nice work with the trakker head. Great choice of parts overall. Really captured that older look. Strong work!!!

Perfect! I like the yellow more than metallic gold, too. Far better than what ever mess Mattel might squeeze out.

Why in the world can't you wait for the NJC? This just takes away from the entirety of it. I mean, I love your work, especially your work in the realm of superheroes as of late. However, I think you do yourself a disservice by not waiing.

Plus, how are you ever gonna win, and pick your own NJC when the time comes? :-D
