Here is a basically finished Aztek. As usual a character that I loved whose book got cancelled and then got killed! At least Jlu brought him back!!

Need to fine tune the head just a bit more and add the shoulder circle joints.

Terrific stuff here. Great parts choice. His book was indeed awesome. I'm hoping someone brings him back someday. Maybe in Blackest Night.

Nice work.

I didn't know who this character was until I saw him on Justice League.

Seems kind of oddly cool.

Nice!!!! I really liked this character. A great book by morrison and millar back in the 90s. It was cool to see him in JLU. Nice work modding the thanagarian head there. Great parts choices. Body looks spot on too. Great job.

Since my comic book knowledge doesn't extend much past the commonly known characters, most of these are new to me when you post them Will. Another fine translation into figure form, to be sure.

In the ref. pic it looks like he's wearing grey or silver. Is that just a shading thing? I ask only because if you could get away with using something other than the tough to use white paint, I'd have jumped at the chance.

Yeah, just the shading on that one, suits all white. I have a new method for my paint jobs now. I coat pretty much everything I do (other than faces) in Krylon Flat White. It dries in minutes and covers everything in a nice solid white with one coat. It also bonds great with the paints we commonly use. Now I am able to get away with only 1 to 2 coats of even the difficult colors such as yellow. All the white on Aztek is the original Krylon white coat. Only thing I hit extra were some of the seams. Hope this helps.

Will
