I've been a Joe fan since the early '80's. There are elements I like and dislike from all eras, yet still I'm a fan through and through. With the following customs I wanted to bring some of the elements I liked in the New-sculpt era to 25th style customs. First of all I tried to match the color schemes and flesh-tones. The results are as shown. Feel free to leave any comment or critiques (Barrel Roll's head doesn't sit as awkward in person, maybe just the angle of the pic). These are not meant to be exact takes on the characters, but rather to capture the feel of the originals.

You did a fine job capturing those in 25th. I hope Hasbro follows suit.

Thanks John. Had a heck of a time with the flesh-tones, but I hope they don't take away too much from the base figs. These were entirely fodder figs as I've kind of been known for as of late. I'm glad you like them.

I dig 'em. Nice work, I like that you put your own touch on them rather then trying to exactly emulate the original figures.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was going for. I appreciated the updates of existing characters and the intro of new, feasible ones as seen the the NS line.

I'm considering Depth Charge and Black Out if the parts fall in place.

Sorry I missed these man. These are pretty cool. It's funny how some of the new sculpt figs had some 25th construct features. (ex. Depth Charge, some BTR figs like Firefly, and of course the regular swivel-wristers like Barrel Roll, Nunchuck, and the lastly the neck ballers ...Barrage, CGirl and Venomous Max).

Nice work on these!

Thanks for the kudos. I agree that you can definitely see the progression to the 25th/ movie style in some of the earlier releases. I enjoy all versions, but would enjoy the newer versions even more if there was a screw to separate the torso. Beggars can't be chosers I guess.
