I posted a WIP of this awhile back in the General Customizing section, but I finally got a second RoC Destro, so here's a finished version. It's Old Snake from the Transformers episode "Only Human." For those unfamiliar, Old Snake is Cobra Commander, older and now working as a mercenary.

Fixed that link to something more up-to-speed, nicer looking and less horrifyingly riddled with ads, if you don't mind. ;-)


Aside from that, very effective Old Snake custom you've got there.

Nice legs ;) The hat looks better painted than I thought it would. Great job.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the legs, either. I started out using the Destro legs, but wanted to get rid of the weird saddle-bag effect they have. Then I ended up dremelling too much, so I went with the next best match. The good part is it keeps him in-scale with other CCs, though.

I really, like this custom, Ole Snake was a favorite of mine as a kid and part of where I got my screen name. So you got a fan of this custom :wink:

Destro v2 left leg would actually look good, though it might not make him in good scale. Still, these legs (IMO) work well, and the color matches the undershirt fairly well. Those are the ones I am using also.

Love what you did here. I am so glad that TRU has that 2 for 10 sale. I was on the fence about picking up a Destro yesterday but I have a reason to go back and buy one now. Thanks for posting this.
