Okay, so when I saw the images of Cobra Island Zap I thought I was going to pillage the figure's accessories and try to sell off the naked remainder. I just didn't like those goofy lower legs on any other figure that's used them and they didn't look any better in the pictures I'd seen.
But once I had it in hand, I realized that Hasbro had fixed its mistake by sculpting some new upper legs that actually work well with those lowers. In fact, I was wrong across the board, as it turns out I really didn't like the new Web gear and belt as much as I thought I would.
So I went about trying to outfit the suprisingly cool Cobra Island Zap in a way that would make it worthy of the name and more reminiscent of the character's original design.
Here's where I landed:

I liked the results of my Zap experiment so much that I decided to apply the same exact recipe to a new Short Fuze custom (after all, Zap and Fuze need to look pretty much exactly alike in terms of uniform design to satisfy my obsessive/compulsive collecting needs).
Here's how that second experiment ended up:

What do you guys think? Improvements over Hasbro's designs?
