Here are a few figures I've finished up inbetween working on my Aftermath Universe customs.

First up is a rework of "the green ranger" himself, Kamakura. My original version used a Storm Shadow torso and at the time it worked. Since then, Tri-Gate Creations has put out this incredible ninja commando torso that I've used before and it works much better for Kamakura. I also tweaked the paint giving him a darker more military color scheme while sticking to the original theme. I still need to work out a pack and sword sheath for him but for now he's finished.

Head, arms, sword: 25th Storm Shadow
Torso: Tri-Gate Creations
Legs: 25th Snake-eyes
Uzi: Marauder Inc.

Next is a couple of characters I've wanted to include in my collection but wasn't sure how. Slapping some parts together I finally found a good recipe for Law. I went with a more realistic color scheme rather than his red shirt and bright blue vest. Order is just a repaint that I've had sitting for months, waiting for his owner to come find him.

Head, helmet: 25th Hawk v.2
Torso, arms: 25th Shipwreck
Hands: 25th Beachhead
Legs: 25th Cobra Trooper
Uzi: Marauder Inc.
Law: repainted VvV Snow Wolf dog

Next is an original character that I created from some spare parts. I really wanted to use the unmasked Beachhead head but couldn't find a good fit for it. With a little paint (and some sanding of that pointy bit) I think I made a good new figure. The rest is just some spare parts I threw together.

Whiplash is Lift-ticket's co-pilot and flight engineer. He rides in the second seat of the Tomahawk and also controls the cargo hold and winch when necessary.

Head, legs: 25th comic pack Beachhead
Torso, arms, helmet: 25th Lift-ticket
Belt: 25th comic pack Firefly

And finally, since everybody else is doing it I figured I'd show my Wet-suit "fix". I had this planned since the figure was first announced and honestly couldn't wait to get it in hand and work my magic. I'll be swapping out the mask for a RoC Flash helmet when I get my order from Broken Arrow Toys. I'm quite happy with how he turned out and he matches my other Wet-suit figures.

Head: 25th comic pack Crimson Guard
Torso, upper arms, upper legs, dive gear: 25th Wet-suit v.2
Lower arms: 25th Shipwreck
Hands: 25th Deep Six v.2
Lower legs: 25th Viper
Weapons: Marauder Inc.

These are all strong customs. I like Whiplash. It's cool that he has the same uniform as Lift Ticket since the fly the same Helo. Nice job.

It took me a minute to adjust to the multi-colored scheme for Kamakura. It works very well.

It's based on the DDP design. I'm not crazy about the colors either but for the character they work. At least until someone redesigns him.

I really like them all but the top two are my faves. Kamakura is a great take that keeps the essential elements while making him look like more of a proper soldier. And that Law and Order is top notch, maybe the best I've seen. He resembles the 2000 version, which I've always thought was a smart looking figure.

I agree that Law and Kamakura kind of steal this show, but Whiplash is a very solid character design (with a great name). I think I'd just like to see some more going on with his torso. Maybe nit a full-on vest, but some kind of web gear, perhaps matching the belt or pants?
