A Chap Mei APC,stripped & hacked at. Added an interior (still needs that lived in look),working rear door. Tracks instead of the wheels it had. The tracks are made from "extended" Wolverine tracks.
Need to as said add accessories & also a camo scheme,as well as a removable roof & window glass at the front.

love this. The outdoor shots are my favorite - I just really wish the indoor pics were a bit clearer. Nice job on the weathering. Like the parts choices and the puches. The helmet rocks with the snow mobile.

are the firefly sleeves supposed to be a sweater poking through a rolled up parka sleeve, or more of a two tone coat? I could see it as either, just curious which angle you were thinking.

not bad buttons.

drbindy, thanks man, appreciate the kind words. The firefly sleeves are for the rolled up outer jacket, ribbed top underneath effect. Tho not aimed at being Firefly (that`s another custom I have planned). The snow effect dry brush worked a treat,Thank`s for the tip.
As for the Snow Transporter, again Thank`s but not showing that much as it`s still WIP & don`t want to give too much away ;)

dream,Thank`s also man.

Is it too late to drop the APC a bit more? Seems like it's riding high and there's a lot of empty space between the top of the Tracks and the Chassis above it. If you could go in and chop out more of those chuncks that seperated the wheels so you could suck the tracks up a little bit higher on the vehicle...I think that'd help a lot.

You may also want to consider some Skirt armor Like the Mauler has...

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

I don't think it really needs one. Every winter transport that I can remember had open tracks. But that's only if this is snow exclusive vehicle, meaning one designed solely for arctic conditions. If it was something like Wehrmacht Halftrack that worked in and out of snow, then I could see it having a skirt. I really dig how this vehicle looks.

Nova,
Yea not adding the skirt as it`s arctic only & I havn`t seen any arctic vehicles with skirts. Tho I may add rolled black material above the tracks. That can be dropped to help with stationary camo, parked protection from the elements.
As for the raised back, initially it wasn`t supposed to be ridin so high like that, the axel bars for the tracks seemed to have caused it to ride higher than anticipated. I have however reworked the body to compensate (i`m happy with the look & will have photos shortly).

Falcone,
Thank`s man & yea it`s Arctic enviroment only so no skirt, tho as stated above, maybe rolled black material for camo purposes.

Here`s a little more I`ve done to the Snow transport & hopefully countered your concerns Nova.

Instead of pulling it all apart & trying to lower the body onto the tracks (as I don`t believe I can due to a working interior),I have opted to extend to bodywork. Also added the Ski mounts (Snowjob backpacks).

Still have more to do.

Not sure what it is, but your camera seems to be washing out the colors/detail on these. That aside these rock! great work, especially on the transport! And excuse me but are those actual FOLDiNG SEATS inside??? 8-O

The tank is working into an awesome piece. The attention to detail on the inside is a huge plus. I can't wait to see the finished product.

By the way, what is the thickness of the sheet plastic that you are using?

Thank`s for the very kind words guys.
Greenshirt,
Yea my camera hates me,never wants to help me out with photos. Also yep they are indeed folding chairs, glad you noticed & liked it. Set the vehicle out to support a msall team, however seats can be folded to allow more troops & or stretchers to be loaded too.

Stormavik, The plastic is couple of mm thick.Hope that helps.

The arctic transport is looking good, early on I'd thought you were working with a bbi half track, now I need to look for that chap mei vehicle.

Also like the camo on the main figure, except on his boots, they seem to get a bit busy. Are you going to paint up the Polaris?

Thank`s Tim,Been working on the roof this weekend, soon have her done.

Danielb, Thank`s man & yea the chap Mei apc is easy to find. As for Arctic Wolf`s boots, well as they are on the ground in the snow I made them look like it (without making them all white). The equipment gets white`d from snow flying in the air/snow fall.So not as heavy as the boots on th ground.
