I initially started used Footloose legs but at the last moment went with the Barrage/Grunt combo. Also I was on the fence about the arms. Started with Flint uppers/Duke (p 4 & 5) or the 25th ones ( p 1-3). The 25th’s are too long so I chopped off some length in the forearm. Unfortunately the girths don’t match. I started to use green stuff to re-sculpt them but lost patience. Is there an easier more effective way to “shrink the arms?” The mustache was also redone from 4&5 to the finished one below and in 1-3.

I’m pretty happy with the result but am curious about the 25th duke arms… does anyone have a technique to shrink and fix the slit wrists?

(finished)
Leatherneck

Accessories: (hat) 25th GH, (rifle) 25th Duke, (backpack) VvV Shipwreck
Head: Barrel Roll
Torso: Footloose
Arms: Cross Hairs (upper), Duke (lower)
Waist: Beach Head
Legs: Grunt (upper), Barrage (lower)

Not a big fan of most of the DTC stuff, but this is a great looking figure!

Nice job on all. It's refreshing to see NS customs, and you've done a heck of a job with them.

Thanks guys! I know this era of joes isn't that popular with most collectors, but I still like them quite a bit for a few reasons I won't go into.

Yup. Here's another pic of him if anyone's interested. The guy on the end is supposed to be Backblast.

Nothing wrong with NS. If it weren't for NS I wouldn't have re-established my love for Joes. Again, great work, and I hope to see more from you.

I agree nothing wrong with Ns I think they're better than Arah stuff. Airborne looks good besides his big ass.

The Barrel Roll head works perfectly for Leatherneck. All of these are good figures.
