Wave 3 was supposed to include me, but I scrapped the Torch head I was modding when I realized this Star Wars head was a better likeness. This is me as the Pilot, which isn't an actual class in the game, but out of everyone I was the one who could fly the Black Hawk without crashing BEFORE most of the squad bailed. I also like the Medic class, so my figure is carrying one of the unlockable weapons for that kit. And as I painted him, I realized his flight suit was starting to look a lot like a Ghostbuster uniform so I painted the nametag area black and red as a bit of an homage.
Wave 4 consists of a really good friend of mine and his wife, both of whom are actual Marines and will hopefully forgive all the inconsistencies and artistic license I took on the figure designs. As I told them, like any good GI Joe figure, they forgo realism for what looks cool (and what parts were available). He's our Medic, and she likes the Anti-Tank class. I really like how both of these came out.
Still working on a few more accessories, and looking into adding straps to some of the weapons, so there will be some updated group shots eventually. But for now, this is SALLY SQUAD!
