Encrypted Communication
To: Empress Pythona
From: Helix, Agent of Cobra-La

"Though I would never be so bold as to question the wisdom of my Empress, I do wonder if spying on the Crimson Twins is prudent. It's not that I doubt that they have side ventures of their own which may run in opposition to the goals of the Cobra Empire, it's that I fear even an agent of my capabilities will be unable to glean what they are up to. The twins are unusually paranoid lately, and I'm worried it will only be a matter of time before my cover is blown. Everyone's on edge here at Extensive Enterprises. Tomax and Xamot are dragging people into their offices seemingly at random for interrogations. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it...one day a third-tier secretary from the second floor will be dragged in, the next it's a veteran Crimson Guard Immortal. Sometimes they return, but more often than not, they're never seen again. And those that do come back never speak of what goes on. The twins are being too guarded for me to find out anything. I suppose that's the trouble of trying to spy on the men who organized Cobra's network of sleeper cells; they know all of our tricks. I worry about the implications if I am discovered, not for my own sake, for my life belongs to Cobra, but for the sake of the Empire. Tomax and Xamot control the entirety of Cobra's financial resources; I cannot imagine they would take well to discovering that they are being spied on on the Emperor's orders. I will, of course, remain vigilant until I am recalled, however."

And the pic:

Parts:
Bodies: RoC Duke
Heads: 25th Tomax and Xamot

Not my most difficult customs, I'll admit, but I wanted a more combat ready look for T&X and the armor from the RoC Duke looked sleek and regal enough to fit the bill.

Feels like it's been a while since I saw a Reign of the Serpent custom. I always like these.

Tomax and Xamot are great, but there are a few other directions I could see going with them. I think a red that more closely matched the CG red would be better. That is unless you are going to pair them with the Crimson Neo-Vipers, which have that same metallic red armoured look.

I'd like to see them with the shoulder pad and sash from the comic pack figures. It would connect them a bit more to their classic look and add to the mirror image effect.

i agree with scramble's idea...but the duke body repaint looks good and i bet hasbro does a variation of it in the future.

scrambles idea is good with the sashes.I would just change the lower legs to something different so it's not all duke look besides the heads

I like how they look, but if you agreed with Tim, you could see how well the actual T&X legs fit that torso. They already have armor, and could be painted to match up fairly well I'd think. I've been considering using those legs for my EXCAL T&X that used the crimson empire knights bodies from SW.
