I've been holding off doing this custom until we saw the driver for the upcoming Snowcat. Since the new Frostbite is going to be a steaming pile of fail, I figured I'd make my own.

The original figure was always a favorite of mine. I especially liked his M-16 with scope. Thanks to Marauder John, that part of the custom was easy.

As always, let me know what you think.

No critique needed. Looks great.

Very nice.

I recently swapped that Shipwreck head onto my Frostbite custom and couldn't decide if I liked it or not.

Seeing it painted makes all the difference.

This is one of the best Frostbites I have seen(more than likely my favorite in 25th construction). Geat work.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Big_Tex, my trick for painting white: white primer. In this case, one coat of white Krylon acrylic primer, in a spray can. Then two coats of white Krylon. Then paint the details such as the belt by hand and finally seal everything with clear super-flat finish ceramic sealer. :-)

Thanks again,

OB

Looks good but one thing that bothers me with this and the original figure is the crispy whiteness of the boots. Maybe an off white or light grey to break them up from the pants a bit. Or detail the laces.

This is really cool. Did you modify the hat a bit?

Thanks guys.

Alleyviperelite, I like your idea about detailing the laces. Maybe I'll give it a try. To seperate the boots, I had actually painted the boots black at first. This looked horrible, so I went back to the source material. The details on the laces might be subtle enough to work.

LeeMarvin80, there have been no mods to the hat. 100% RoC Shipwreck..
