The Red Star head always looked like it was supposed to be John Wayne to me, but when I put it on a movie Sabertooth body it just screamed Johnny Cash to me. I added some darkness under the eyes to see if it made it look a little more like him. Am I crazy, or is it a pretty good likeness for a younger Johnny Cash? I'm trying to decide if I like it enough to keep working on it... I really like the idea of a gunslinger Johnny Cash as part of "dream team" group of figures. He'll need a guitar though. |

I want to kiss you except that I don't have any of those parts and thus can't do this myself, thus I'm too sad to kiss anyone. |

Yeah that works for me. That Red Star head is much more versatile than I'd thought. |

Awesome. Black hair would put it over the top. |

Very good start.Oh damn, now I'm not going to be happy till I can find or make one of those. He might also need a guitar/sword combo like in Six String Samurai (but then I'd be too tempted to do a SSS Buddy Holly). Thanks for the feedback guys, if I'm not the only one who sees the likeness he's definitely a keeper for me. |

The McFarlane Toys Crow had a guitar not sure if it would be too big. |

Yeah, that looks disturbingly like Johnny Cash. Just give him the black hair. |

Cashtacular! If you make a John Tesh figure, I'll say "Teshtacular!" Just think about it, okay? |

He's sitting on my desk at home, and the guitar is perfectly sized for him, and he has about 2-3 inches on any Joe figure. Well, now I know what to do with my Red Star head. |

another option (if you have a scroll saw or coping saw) would be to print out a black acoustic 1:18 scale guitar and glue it to a 1/2 piece of wood -- cut around it, paint the sides & back black, tie on a string & WIN! |
