  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

 Post subject: Skeletor, Evil Lord of Destruction (Updated)

As if there is a good Lord of Destruction. I attempted Skeletor awhile back with the rest of my MOTU customs. I was never completely satisfied with my head choice as it looked too tiny for the body used. So I ordered a head from Tri Gate creations several months ago and finally decided to paint it. The first two pictures are my repainted version and the last is how he was presented over a year ago. Let me know what you think I'm also considering trying this custom completely over to match the latest MOTU classics line.

yeah the 2000 series look is better than the 80's and he does look nice, just don't like the hands he has and yep looks better with the trigate head

That is a great figure.

If anyone is going to make a custom action figure of La Parka, a famous wrestler, that head would be something to use.

great work, great paint work too! My one complaint would be that the hands can't hold anything which makes this guy kinda uselass as an action figure. everything else is kickasstastic though

I took board members Tanstoys and Greenshirts advice and decided to add a hand that Skeletor could use to hold a weapon. ( Havok staff perhaps hmmmm) Maybe later. Also took a shot of him on Panthor though I need to find a saddle. Made sure to make the hands inter changable plan on adding magnets to the backs so that I can switch out when I please. Hope you enjoy the update. And thanks for the advice guys much appreciated.
