Mara Jade has always been one of my favorite Star Wars EU characters. Unfortunately, both of her figures have been pretty disappointing. I'm working on a full custom of her, but for now, I thought I'd share a quick-fix for the Comic pack Mara. Really, all it is is replacing the ugly melon head with a comic pack Cover Girl head. Then I used Tamiya's transparent red (which rules) on the hair, lips and eyebrows. I think it looks a bunch better...still a flawed figure, but at least it displays a bit better (IMO).
