So I was chatting with Tigerclaw and he gave me a sort of kick in the pants to start something that we really don't see a lot of. MASK in scale with our Joes.

I can't remember who did it, but Tiger showed me a Corps Jeep made into a Gator and it struck me as a very simple custom. Please don't confuse simple with uninvolved or easy. By simple I me using straight forward hack, slash, and bash approach to getting it something done.

I have shown this in chat but Narc says to post more WIPS and I really like the sound of that, so here goes.

More is coming. I am very close to being done with Brad Turner and while the rotar has proven a lot harder to mod than what I had first atticipated it to is moving a long nicely.

All I can say is "Hocus pocus!!"

Can't wait to see this come together. Is the figure next to it going to become Brad Turner or Sly Rax?

Bulletbitch (monkeywrench) is just for scale. Tunnel Rat was laying handy when I needed to take the other pic. I am using some other new mold parts for Brad.

How are you going to approach the masks themselves?

Well I am kinda of thinking of building the majority of them. Brad included, in sort of a new era way. I have a grip of helmets here from Eco Warriors and later stuff and will just mod or paint them accordingly.

I've been working on this stuff for a bit now. I'm trying to finish a Jackhammer. In my Joeverse MASK and VENOM go hand in hand with Joe and Cobra. MASK is a top secret military branch that at times works with Joe. Cobra and VENOM are at odds but occasionally find it necessary to work together. Because of the tech VENOM uses I also have a second weapons producer since MARS doesn't have the Mask tech.

Anyway looong post just to say great job. Can't wait to see this finished.

Hmm...got me thinking about a Gator myself. Being the huge Jeep fan I am...hmm....

Beat up transformers have a ton of great hinges. Pretty much any that you can pick up.

You've got me hooked, I keep checking back for updates cause I wanna see this bad boy finished. This was the first MASK toy that I had so it's very close to my heart.
