I mean can we have Fridge in his Bears uniform, for cryin out loud. As a Bear fan, this injustice will no longer stand so i made one of him in more of a Bears look.

This custom would make my Chicago friends smile, which means I am geographically obligated to hate it. Very nice work, though. |

Hey..............my fault, David Jake. I take back the criticism if I knew the outcome or response would turn out this way. Besides, it was late at night and sometimes people think weirdly before they head off to sleep. I love the Fridge action figure as much as every Joe fan does. Also, this custom of the Fridge is your rendition of this timely displayed action figure. I respect your individual talent and work on your customs. And.... keep making them. Forget the criticism of others. Hopefully we can both fix things over a cold 40 oz. of beer, like real guys! |

I don't know if you guys are buds in real life, but as a board moderator, David Jake, this crosses a couple lines. Consider this a warning. Respect. |

Uh...wow...between this thread and the 'miscast' one, I feel I'm treading on dangerous ground here, but this IS the critique forum, so here goes. It's a great concept, but the arms not matching the skin tone of either the head or the hands is very distracting. Why not go with the original Fridge arms instead? |

Looks good. Is that a head-to-toe repaint or did you use different legs? |

Darko wrote: but the arms not matching the skin tone of either the head or the hands is very distracting. Agreed. The arms look like they are Fridge arms, and the color of the hands match the skin tone on the face. The "off" color on the rest of his arm is very distracting, and seems like it was an un-needed change. Also if you were going for an "authentic" Bears uniform, then the colors should be dark blue and orange. Not black. |

Why not go with the original Fridge arms instead? no your fine bro, i just don't appreciate 'cracks' about my work, but yeah i noticed that too after i posted the pics, i painted the arms because they were loose, but i see now the difference in brown is off, i already submitted him so i'll have to fix it down the road. |

And the arms like i said i painted over cuz they were loose. |

I like the new look. Similiar to when I did Bazooka in a Saints scheme. I think all the sports team-schemed characters can easily be done into local favorites to suit a particular customizers likes and dislikes. Critique on this figure: Good idea as I said, however Id suggest taping off areas to give a more 'streamlined' paint application. And, should you accidently go outside the lines, it never hurts to go back and do some touch ups. Also, I always give 2-3 coats on EVERYTHING. Makes a real difference. |

Yeah, flesh is a [LASER BLAST], in any case, and Ill always do anything possible to avoid ever having to paint it. Whats difficult about it is that so much rides on it. You can have a perfect custom, but if the flesh applications dont match, it becomes a distraction and throws off the 'feel' of the whole figure. AKA TBC Hawk, 1991. |
