The Robot Rebellion has Begun…

Half-human and half-machine, Overkill is the ambitious leader of the Cobra B.A.T. army. He has covertly been plotting to destroy Cobra Commander and to lead his legions of Battle Android Troopers to World domination. Sensing that the right moment has arrived, Overkill’s troops turn on their human masters and take over all of Cobra’s B.A.T. factories around the World. From these staging points, they strike at several nations simultaneously. Unprepared for an all-out assault by legions of robot troopers, the military forces of these nations fall quickly. Now, controlling vast industrial resources, Overkill turns his attention to destroying Cobra and G.I. Joe…

About this project:

Third figure in the series, Scrap Iron was included because he was part of the proposed first wave of Robot Rebellion. We finally got this figure in DTC wave 1. My custom is completely based on this figure:
http://www.generalsjoes.com/reviews/200 ... piron.html

Also, as a missile specialist and weapons designer, Scrap Iron's talents would be called upon if Cobra has any chance of defeating Overkill and his legions.

Enjoy and stay tuned for the next figure tomorrow.

OB

That is absolutely genius. I can't believe that a recolored Accelerator Suit would so perfect recreate that funky armor that Scrap Iron was wearing. I've always really liked that DTC Scrap Iron for some reason and this captures it brilliantly.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like him.

Rambo, unfortunately the helmet does come off. I simply re-used the 25rth Scrap Iron head with no mods.

Stay tuned for the next figure in the series later today.

That is beautiful. I love the gold lens on the helmet. The accelerator suit is great in other colors.

Really well done.

I didn't care for this version of Scraps in the DTC line, but for you rproject, you've updated the concept perfectly.
