A lot of these customs are very familiar to most of you, many of them were created nearly 10 years ago. However, I have finally got them to look the way that I always wanted them too, the way the original team was portrayed in the early Marvel Comics. I honestly believe that I will never do any other versions of these characters in their original uniforms again. This is not to say that I will not be doing new Oktober Guard customs, in fact I am working on a more modern Horrorshow right now. One of the other things that I always wanted for the original Oktober Guard team was a nice small diorama that looked very similiar to the photo on the back of Marvel G.I. JOE Yearbook 2. While these customs are not insanely difficult to make, I do have a strong sentimental attachment to them because these very customs are the ones that got me started in this crazy hobby. Daina is the only new custom, but Shrage was modified with a new paint scheme and an RPK. Horrorshow was also modified with a new paint scheme and new straps on his left thigh.
Again, thanks for looking.

Well done on both the figure and the dio.

Where is that headgear from?

I like em. Only critique is that it looks like Daina's headgear is sitting too low, like the top of her head is too short or something.

As I said before, these are just awesome.

Have these been added to the Gallery here?

Amazing.

As best I can tell, that's a head-to-toe Lady Jaye repaint with a modified head? With the modified head and sculpted pouches, in addition to the amazing paint job, you disguised the Lady Jaye body.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Spin Doctor, the headgear is from a Star Wars figure, Tycho Celchu.

Matthew, I understand the thought on the headgear and the appearance that it is sitting to low. I was actually worried about it being to high. The real Soviet helmets are made from leather and as such would definitely mat down the hair unless there was a ton of hairspray under there.

DarkJedi, most of the images in the gallery of my OG are older images, with older custom weapons, many are very hard to see.

Past Nastification, the thighs are actually from Law and the lower legs are from Recoil.

Again, thanks for all the comments.

OK, any plans for better pics with the updated weapons? I haven't checked your site out in a while, but updated individual pics that show the detail would be beneficial to customizing wannabees like moi... :D

So noted, now off to the fodder box to get parts...

Darkjedi my web-site has individual pics of each of them that are close up and in much better detail. I did not want to bore everyone over hear by showing the same customs again. Here is a link if you want to check them out.
