I wasn't going to pick up a RoC Baroness (at least not the first version), but Target was having a $3.50 sale, and the only other figures they had were Destros and Neo Vipers, so I decided I'd bite the bullet and get one just for fodder. Now, I'd seen the pictures of the figure before, and I knew it was pretty bad, but I thought it would be one of those cases where, once I got it in hand, I would see that it wasn't *that* awful (like I did with RoC Cover Girl). I was completely wrong. It looks WORSE in person. This is, without a doubt, the ugliest headsculpt Hasbro has ever done. Worse than some of the early JvC sculpts, worse than Monkey Face Leia. It was supposed to be Sienna Miller. Instead, we got someone's sixty year old aunt who lives alone with twenty cats and macrames her own underwear. I had to do a fix. Thankfully, I had a head already prepared. It was intended for a different custom that got scrapped, but it works well here (I think). A better likeness to the actress, at least (of course, the same could be said about Heavy Duty's head). I also painted the corset piece of her torso a more matte black (doesn't really show up in the photos) just so the whole figure wouldn't be so insanely glossy. Parts: Head: Indiana Jones Elsa Schneider w/ Baroness hair Everything else: RoC Baroness |

I dig greatly good sir. Hasbro should have just scrapped that head and put on one of the later 25th heads. (then again, i have no idea if they even fit) |

nicely done, and yeah a better likeness which is inexcusable (edit: for Hasbro) that a Indiana Jones actress's figure looks more like Sienna Miller than their hi-tech scan did. Strangely, I have the exact same head and hair paired together for a WIP, but not making a Baroness with it. This is tempting though. Are the shades from the original figure? I ask only cause I just bought a bunch of shades from Guru-planet, and I think they are awesome alternatives. |

I've never seen the guru-planet shades in use. Thanks for the feedback...and on a side note, can I just praise this board for ABILITY TO READ. I posted this on...another board...and, despite listing my parts pretty clearly, got four different replies of, "What head is that?" It's nice that there's a place where people actually take time to read your posts. |

Yay! A pretty girl! Seriously, Hasbro cannot seem to sculpt an attractive female face for the Joe line at this scale. 25th Scarlett was cute in an unrealistic Anime sort of way. The first 25th Lady Jaye looked short-bus special and subsequent hatless versions look like teenaged boys. Baroness was largely obscured by her glasses and hair in earlier releases and looked like she ran face first into the same wall of ugly that hit Scarlett and Covergirl for the ROC line. You've done a great job of redeeming this otherwise cool figure. |

that head is a million times more attractive, good thinkin and yeah making the black on her corset is a better way to go, Tim |

What an improvement! The ROC Baroness is no longer a she-male! |
