Knocked out another 'Nok over the weekend, leaving me only Gnawgahyde to tackle (and I can wait on that one, I think).

Thrasher's pretty straightforward. Took some liberties with the design and details and have to track down a classic accessory for him, but what do you guys think of the basic look?

I think your basic idea is about to be stolen. I've been trying to figure out how to do him, and I like the look of this one. My only quibbles with him are personal preference-type things (yours, like the original figure, is too 'pretty boy'-ish for my taste. Makes him seem too much a poser for what the 'noks should be.) But the figure looks quite good.

I think the best part choice is the pair of Destro spiked shoulder pads. They are rarely used in this context and bring Thrasher to life.

I'm not crazy about the face. He's a bit too pretty-boy. I prefer my Thrashers looking like Mic Jagger.

I like it and have no issue with him being a "pretty boy".

It is what sets him apart from the other 'Noks. It gives him the juxtaposition of being a somewhat good looking guy, but he has the badness inside.

He could be the Templeton "Faceman" Peck of the gang.

I think it looks cool, I might need to borrow the shoulder spikes idea for my thrasher. What head did you use?

Very nice job. I like the spiked mace, I think it works better than the lacrosse stick. I have to agree with DarkJedi. Thrasher should be the clean faced pretty boy of the group. He was a trust fund child, with enough money to do what he wanted. His membership into the Dreadnoks was based on his desire for action and danger, not financial gains. So far no body has completely copied another customizer's Thrasher, but used ideas from them. The IG Destro spikes are a nice touch.

Thanks, all, for the kind words.

This was a character that had me scratching my head a good long time before I found a way to achieve the look I wanted. The Destro shoulder pads took some modifying to work properly, but I was pleased with the overall result.

The head came off of Cobra Island Chuckles and I picked it specifically for the "aren't I pretty" vibe it kind of gives off ( I always thought that was a big part of Thrasher's character), along with a grin and intense, beady-eyed stare that seems to imply a complete lack of anything but self-serving, predatory impulses going on inside the head. Clearly I didn't like it for Chuckles.

The mace was something I'd made for my son's JLU Hawkgirl, but then he got one that came with what he thought was a better mace (everyone's a critic). So it'll hold the place until I can find the original weapon.

The other parts came off of two Ripper figures (torso and upper arms), a Shipwreck (lower right arm), a Red Ninja (lower left arm), a Neo Viper (left gauntlet), Battle Armored Cobra Commander (left hand), and a Cobra Island Strato- and Range-Viper (legs).

And don't worry, Gnawgahyde will get made eventually. I just need to work my way up to him.

I like the head choice, I like the mace, and I really like the shoulder pads. You made some really good part choices here breathing new life to dated character.

I must say this is a superb update for the character and I hope I can remember to look at this one if I ever get around to updating the ARAH version of him for my collection. I really liked the toned down hair, it is not so thick, and the green doesn't flash as much, but it makes for a much better look for Thrasher.
