Does anyone else remember those Foster's commercials?

No? Oh, well...

This custom represents a major milestone for me in that it's the last character I needed to finish from 1986 (not counting The Fridge, whom I'll probably never do).

I ordered a kit of cast parts...the head, an upper and lower torso...and thought the parts were very well made. But I really didn't care for the lower torso (talk about your child-bearing hips), so I bashed it together with some parts from an ROC Scarlett and a Jabba's slave Leia to get this:

The gun is a totally custom update of her original roto-tiller thing. I figured a circular saw mounted as a bayonet would be a bit more menacing. And although I was planning to paint the legs solid blue to emulate her original color scheme, I really liked the way she looked in the pink and camo. So I left it as a tribute to her recent Con figure. As this next picture shows, the knife on her right thigh is removable and has a dinosaur head. I figure it was a gift from her older brother, Zartan, who used to tease her as a little girl for her terrible temprament, calling her Zaranasaurus Wrecks.

And here she is with my other custom classic-character 'Noks. I've got everyone but Gnawgahyde now.

So what do you guys think?

That looks fantastic. You did a great job putting that together. What head and torso parts did you use.
Definitely keep the camo pants as they are. THey really work on that figure.

I'm not sold on the camo pants. I really think she needs blue jeans or just solid blue pants to put her over the top.

Also, the spinning blade mount looks too fragile. I would take it off, cut the grip and guard off, turn it over, then glue that to the main weapon.

Nice work, I agree that she would look better with blue jeans, but this is your custom and I say if you like it leave it. The circular saw attached to the rifle is a nice touch, much better than the original. DarkJedi does have a good point and I would recommend trying that.

I'd considered getting that kit myself, but her chest is just ridiculously large.

The work is solid as always however. I agree that blue pants would help her overall look though.

I actually like the gun. Great idea. If I ever saw a saw blade as a bayonett I'd run. The camo pants work for me. I like the con figure so this is a nice RoC update for me especially while keeping the pink shirt.

I also agree with Hypno. She's going to need back surgery if she doesn't get breast reduction. I think giving her the smaller hips just makes the chest look even more off.

"Zaranasaurus Wrecks"

Oh why couldn't we have gotten a full set of 25th style Dreadnoks? :) She looks great, your group shot of all the custom 'noks is great.

I like it. I think the hips were the problem I've had when I've seen this kit in use, and you fixed that problem nicely. Perfect paint apps too. Never been a Nok fan, but can appreciate a good custom when I see one. Nice job

I like this a lot. As for the large chest- I dig the fact that it looks like she's not wearing a bra.

Very cool - I actually like the camo pants, and now have a reason to start working on mine (she's the only 'Nok that I haven't really started on yet.)

Time to get to started, I guess :D

Where'd you get the sawblade-thingy for her bayonet?

Probably from the Corps Construction Workers...

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

The head and torso top are from Mad Eye Joe's Overkill Creations (on my phone now or I'd link it for you). The arms were Leia's and the lower abdomen/legs are from ROC Scarlett.

As for the apparent top heaviness, I'll pretend that some of you aren't implying that there is such a thing as too much in that department. ;)

Actually, to me, the chest size seemed pretty normal. But that might have something to do with the fact that my son assumed I was making a custom of my wife when he saw this ("Why is mommy's shirt and pants ripped?" he asked). She thought I was making the pop star, Pink. When I explained the character was a master of disguise, my wife said that made sense because people probably wouldn't spend much time looking at her face (that's one of her pet peeves).

I'm really glad se folks are digging the camo pants. The look really grew on me quickly.

And I believe Dark Jedi is right about the saw's origins.

Thanks again for looking and commenting.

I'm glad some folks are digging the camo.

Wait, you're wife is Pink?

I have gotten enough Corps Construction Worker sets to be 100% sure.
