Ok, so as promised, I snapped a bunch of pics of the little TRU Snow-fort thing that I bought yesterday.

I measured what I could - the curved edges will necessitate a bit of eye-balling on your part, but it shouldn't be too hard to put one together yourself out of foamboard or what have you.

Pieces A, B, & E are the important ones - the "must-fit" pieces, anyway. But I'm sure you could vary quite a bit from the "plan" and still do quite well. I might make a couple foam versions this weekend if I get a chance.

Some scale shots:

I still recommend snagging one at TRU if you get a chance - it's surprisingly fun and I'm liking it more and more. It's a friggin' steal for $20.

Good luck - let me know if you have any questions/problems.

Cheers!

Yeah, well.....

I should mention that the curved pieces I & J (the ones that were a complete pain in the ass to measure) are probably the most expendable of the bunch. There's got to be a thousand ways to support that part of the playset without using those "LASER BLAST" pieces, so I wouldn't waste my time trying to reconstruct them.

Freakin' awesome Chief. If I weren't so lazy, I'd get that sucker detailed up to look more legit-arcticy.

It'd make a great base for any number of cool things, including a cobra base cave.

Hmmm...Cobra base cave. Hmmm.

Heya Dan!

Wow, that is some playset. It gives me some ideas, the dimensions. Looks like when I am done with these shoebox dios I may entertain the format. Just finished priming a deep snow foundation for a fantasy piece. Wondered what to put on it,

Great pix!

Picked up the Dino playset today -- it's actually a completely different setup, although the same concept and overall the same size.

Too many pieces to go through the measuring again, but here are the instructions if you want to try eye-balling it. Do yourself a favor and drop the $20 at TRU and get you one.

And here are the poor bastards that didn't make the He-Man NJC (all 4" scale figs, BTW)

Wish I'd bought a couple of these when I was making my Tarzan Jungle dio :D

Cheers!
