Nothing fancy here, just another addition to my "Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame" - Tiger Force Rock 'n' Roll. Head: Broken Arrow Toys Torso, arms: 25th Comic Pack Shipwreck Legs: 25th Roadblock Weapon: Marauder Inc. (as usual) |

I like him, very simple, very effective. is that a shipwreck torso? I do miss the quinteseesntial (sp?) belts of linked ammo, but we are now in the year 2010..... one thing bothers me is the eyes, not sure if it is glare or flash though....but something looks .......off (?)... on his right eye |

Saw this earlier, very neat take using a character not associated with Tiger Force before... |

Maybe it is just being in a tiger striped shirt itslef.....maybe he would be more comfortable in a chuckles hawwaiin shirt? |

What can I say, no matter how hard I try I still suck at eyes. Was going to add an ammo belt across his chest but it covered up the tiger stripes too much for my liking. Maybe a short one wrapped around his right thigh? Hell his v.2 figure had bullets on his hat, the thigh thing ain't too far from that idea. |

Well, Salvo had ammo belts wrapped around his legs and I don't recall him carrying a gun. (actually I did a LBC using every ARAH piece that had ammo sculpted on it: Salvo legs, Rock 'n Roll v2 head, etc) I can see where the eyes could be an issue, but honestly to me he just looks like he's looking down at something, like a targeting computer or a viewscreen. |

Nice, smooth paints. I always have yellow paint get gritty when I try to use large amounts of it, so I envy the good application. |

As for the custom... well there's the eye problem that was mentionned before, and the colors just remind me way too much of the Brazilian Tiger Force Shipwreck for me to see it properly as Rock'n'Roll. |

Jay wrote: Are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me here? I wouldn't call them grenade belts, since Salvo doesn't carry a grenade launcher. He has the missile launcher backpack and the handheld weapon is a mine layer. There is a small section that has about four projectiles sticking up. I thought those were flares. As for the wraps around his legs, I always took these as bullet ammo belts...not grenades. For him to carry hundreds of 40mm projectile grenades around his legs-the weight alone would slow him down. It just seems to make sense he would have bullet ammo belts instead. Maybe we should ask that as a separate thread so as not to keep cluttering up this one? |

Yeah I get the yellow and black being used before on other figures. But I really wasn't feeling the greens and browns used on other TF figures and don't have a good orange to use. So I went with this custom yellow I mixed up for something (I forget what). I like it and think it fits well with the other TF 25th figures. |

I think maybe if you slung some ammo belts over his shoulders that would set him off more as RnR |

Yeah, if it was on something else it wouldn't be too bad, but this is Tiger Force Shipwreck's deco being used on a Shipwreck's torso and arms. |
