"You fear Death's Head, yes? You are prepared to be dealt with, yes?"

A fan suggestion come to creation, Death's head was made from an assortment of parts. His main body was that of the Wolverine Origins Collossus, Marvel Legends Hand Ninja forearms, Trigate Creations custom cast head, Serpentor's skirt, Spidey Animated Green Goblin's lower legs, Marvel Universe Hobgoblin Cape, GI Joe Montezuma's loincloth piece, and Deep Dive Iron Man 2 hip covers for his kneepads. Whew!

Death's jacket, shin panels, and various other parts were sculpted by hand using Apoxie sculpt. I was able to make the cape look tattered by using a leather hole-puncher with the multi-punch wheel of different sizes. All the weapons that store on his back can be plugged in to his right hand just like he uses them in the comic as well. Overall I'm psyched just to see this guy in action figure form! Death's Head is a majorly cool and majorly underused character. There be some bright colors on this character!

ESWAT Cyber Police is one of those games from the past so obscure you'd miss it if you blinked. It was an arcade shooter but made its way on to the Sega Genesis. Here we have one of the ESWAT Officers in his cyber suit. It was made from the Deep Dive Iron Man 2 figure, the right arm cannon from a missile of some sort, chestplate from RoC Heavy Duty, head from 25th Starduster, hand from a Patlabor Griffon Labor Revoltech, and modded RoC Sgt Flash helmet.

The backpack was made from a Terminator T600 pack (props to Jared for the fodder!) with Glyos parts for the turrets. The figure was basecoated in dark blue, given a silver topcoat, a wash of deep metallic blue, then highlights of lighter metallic blue. There's all sorts of art for this guy so I tried to combine the best parts of the suit and color scheme from all the resources I found.

I like Death's Head... apart from the head. It's way too big and exagerated. His jaw spikes weren't teeth, and he doesn't have the proper eyesockets or rectangular brows. Might sound nitpicky, but he's one of my favourite characters.

The ESwat guy is great. I was playing that game the other day.

Hmmm. My only exposure to the Death's Head character is from British TF comics.




He looks pretty spot on to me though... Very elaborate work, and I've come to expect nothing less from you.

The ESWAT Cyber police guy though, it makes me want to copy the design! I really like this one. If I catch that Iron Man figure for cheap, I may end up doing about 3 of them like this.

I actually think he's spot on based on the U.S versions I've seen of him.

I'm not familiar with the e swat figure but the parts and paints are fantastic. The helmet is very cool.

Death's Head is such a great mish mash of parts. I'm trying to picture all of those parts laid out on your work bench in a pile and you going, "Yeah I can turn this rubble into a figure." The coloring on him is comic perfect which just makes him very eye popping.

ESWAT, I'm not familiar with but he looks like he'd give Megaman a run for his money.

Thanks guys! Death's Head, er, head was a custom cast from Trigate. I actually shortened the horns and teeth considerably but didn't want to go further than that and step on their sculptor's toes or anything. But should I make a larger version of DH, 6" or 8" (mmmm, Sigma 6 Death's Head?) I'll make sure to make the jaw one piece and fix the eyes, etc,

Ya know, lemme call up the Trigat guys and ask if they'd mind and all. If not, I'll rework the head a bit. I pretty much have all the stuff here to do it.
