I figured I had better post these since joemichaels70 posted his work from the Con customizing class I figured I had better too. I made to customs in a matching urban camo to give to my wife. The first figure (male) took me about 4 1/2 hours to do, the second one took me about 2. The gray paint is custom mixed becuse we were limmited on our color choices. The white is a gloss, which I didn't care for but hey, whatcha gonna do.

No real bios for the either of them yet.

Parts:

Head: TRU Grunt, sanded down to look like a ball cap.
Torso, Upper Arms, and Legs: Pitt Trooper
Knees: Para-Viper
Forearms: Tiger Force Duke
Kevlar Vest: ROC Eel with the neck cut down
XM-8: ROC Flash
Pistol: ROC Dessert Ambush Duke

I even tried to paint a little in-and-out hat on him.

Parts:

Head: Pitt Attack Baroness
Torso, Arms, and Left Thigh: Cover Girl
Right Thigh: Cobra Diver
Legs: TRU ROC Reaper or Footloose
AUG: The Doctor
Uzi: Snake Eyes of some kind?
Pistol: Glock of some kind cut down to fit in the holster

I really wanted to use a Helix head, and there was one, but a whole mess of parts went missing while we were at lunch and the head went with it.

All and all I'm pretty please with how these came out since I was a little under the gun time wise on them.

I like those. Did you have to pay to be part of this class?

Yea, I think it was like $60, but you got to go through Richards parts, and he would demo anything you wanted to know.

Nice work Dreamy with limited parts. I could see this as another generic soldier pack set.

Yep, those are pretty sweet. Any plans to touch them up (dull up the white) later, or are you keeping them "factory"?

Great job mashing the parts together - but are the thighs on the chick different lengths? Looks a little off in the pic.

Excellent paint job - never would have guessed that the gray was mixed - looks perfect.

1. I think I'll probably just leave them as is, becuse I'm too lazy to start working on them again,

2. I think they are pretty close to the same size, but the picture really does make them look different huh. I has to switch the legs, becus the afore mentioned missing parts left me with just one cover girl leg left in the parts box.

I like the team. The Helix head would have been pretty good but Baroness isn't bad either. I like the dots of camo breaking up the splotches. Those help a lot. Detailing on the vest looks tight too.

These have a cool subteam vibe going on but, if it were me, I'd want to give them some more distinguishing characteristics to make the a little less generic. A distinctive re-equip with more specialized weapons might be enough and might also help you develop their personalities for bio purposes.
