I was curious how a "doctor's" outfit would look with using those same forearms (most of the customs I've seen replace them with someone elses) but I think it looks good like that. Very modern, and I'm not galvanized to do the same with the extra Storm Shadows I picked up on clearence.

The Wild Bill head is a great idea for Dr. Mindbender. The custom looks excellent, nice job.

That is, from the neck down, almost exactly a custom I had planned myself. Mine would have a 25th Mindbender head and purple pants, however.

Looks good. I hadn't thought about the Wild Bill head. Hmmmm.

Thanks!

Technically, he has Wild Bill feet too... used the lower legs from one
and painted over the thighs in black to match.

The WB head was a pain to work with... very small and hard to grind off
all the hair, also hard to shave off the part of the glasses I didn't want.
I tried to use some sculpt to smooth it out but it didn't cure right so
I just sanded it out somewhat.

The good news is that his moustache worked out great.

Not suprisingly, I love this formula. It's very close to the one I used for my Dr. Mindbender and Doc Venom figures. But, as someone pointed out above, I swapped in different lower arms (and trimmed down the collar some).

Seeing how yours turned out with fewer modifications has inspired me to take a similar route with my planned Hot-Wire custom. I wanted him to look different but consistent and the way your Mindbender looks -- almost like a hybrid between a scientist and a motocross biker, should work perfectly.

So thanks for that idea.

;)
