I was making a custom and wanted him to have some interesting gear.
I've always been faciated by Eastern Native American culture and thought I'd take a stab at some of their weapons.

The Tomahawk did not photograph very good it looks like it's covered in dust, but it's very smooth.

Want do you think?

I LOVE that war club! The tiny details are simply amazing. And you say you cant paint anymore. :P

The Tomahawk, while very cool as well, just looks like a hatchet that I carried in the boy scouts. But could work as a modern utility weapon for Spirit to carry.

I would like to see you make one that looks like the head made of stone.

I agree with TC here. It looks more like a modern hatchet than a tomahawk. Still cool, but you may want to go more traditional for the tomahawk.

The war club is perfect. Maybe it could use some feathers and beads added, but otherwise it is perfect. Great painting on it too.

I based the Tomahawk on the highly sought trade items manufactured by the french and English and given to the natives.
They were used as a service weapon as well as a pipe. This one is loosely based on the tomahawk used by Mel Gibson in the Patriot

As for the Club I didn't want to add items that would hinder the use of it. I had something like this as a kid and the extras always got caught when I was swinging it around. This one was based on the club used in Last of the Mohican's. I painted it brown cause I thought the blue was boring and my paint job ties it to the figure I made it for.

Thanks for the comments, I wasn't sure how these would go over.

I love 'em. Awesomely done.

I have been working on both a ball/stock club both in real size (if I ever consider limping my ass to powwow dance again), and a 1:18 one for my End of Day's Spirit.

But these, I'm liking far better!

I liked that one from LotM movie, it was metal though, that could be your next one, or even for me :shifty:

Thanks guys
Cap If I ever have them casted I'll send you a couple, but right now Sean has so much of my stuff I think I'll give him a break.
For the ball club the new Avatar the last air bender figures have one it comes with saka. From the one picture I saw of it it looks pretty good.

Jay that club was actually wood paint/stained with a blue milk paint. I did quite a bit of searching before I made mine. His actually had a few extra bits of metal on it but I could never get a good enough screen capture to tell what they were.

The Gun stock club is not actually from a gun stock but just resembles one.

Thanks again for the comments.

I always like other customizer who go the extra step and hand make weapons. The tomahawk is great and is usable for other customs. During the Vietnam war, and even in modern service, Special Forces soldiers carried tomahawks. You did a great job on both of these custom made weapons. Keep up the good work.

Thanks I really appreciate the compliment.
The figure the weapons goes with is a modern warrior who will benefit from their ability to cut off heads and bash in brains.
