Hello All. A Hiss Tank member asked me to make a Hardball figure using the ROC Duke from the convoy attack. He wanted me to use the same basic paint job I had used on a previous custom, so I had a good idea of what he wanted, but wasn't sure how it would come out. Here is the final product, minus the ball cap that he is going to add once the figure gets to him... Maybe he will post a picture with the hat. Anyway, here's Hardball:

Now I know what some of you may be thinking: this looks like ROC Ripcord with ACU's on... Well, you would be wrong, as this guy doesn't have a soul patch, and has a 5:00 shadow going! So there! ;)
I offered to repaint the whole head in a lighter skin tone, to give a feel of the original Hardball, but my sponser on this piece said it wasn't necessary. Oh well, it's his piece now.
Anyway, comments or critiques are welcome, as always.

-Todd

Yes, that is a nice job. I like the original with his baseball clothes, but this makes him suitable for the jungle missions too.

Thanks for the comments. I made this figure to specs for another collector, but I thought I'd share it. I thought it came out decent, and may use the same body to make a similar figure, but with a different head sculpt.

That looks awesome. My only "critique" would be that some paint apps to the grenade launcher itself would give it some good personality. Other than that, very well done.

I like the crit of the weapon. Perhaps to tie him into his original figure a bit you could put a team logo or some such thing on the drum???
