did one a few years ago, that I was no longer happy with so decided to give it another go, still need to get a new head so I can give it a better paint job, using the head from my first version at the moment

head Broken arrows "smiling guy" with sculpted head gear
SE torso and upper arms
beachhead lower arms the black dots are sculpted on
original figures upper legs, dremelled armor and straps, backpack ... No fancy satellite bracelets, those things are huge, will scratch build some down the road
lady jaye gloves
lower legs, RIA duke???

That works really well.
I'd buy it.

Saw this on Hiss Tank, too... One nice looking rendition of a figure that was, uh, not one of my favorite figures in the '80's. However, your figure is definitely a winner! Great job!

agreed. very nice and I'd buy him if he was in the store. It is really neat how you can't tell that RAH upper legs are used in your customs they blend in so well with the 25th stuff you use....any secret to how for the great appearance

its all in the knees, 1st i make sure the proportions look right (working on Downtown at the moment but his vintage legs are too long to work with the lower elgs I want, makes him look way out of whack proportion-wise), then i find a pair of knees that work with the look I'm going for and are close to fitting. then I either dremel the knee socket to fit the peg, sand a little off the ring, or sand a little off the vintage leg, sometimes all three, all depends. Once the knee fits then I deepen the ball socket in the upper portion to accept the 25th ball. which are larger. if you don't do this than you won't get a tight seam when you screw the leg together. does thatmake any sense, kinda difficult to explain

thanks guys

Looks great, but I would like to have seen him with a working holster and knife sheath.

I also don't like the original figure's design, but you've done a masterful job of adapting it to 25A style.

Great job on this guy. A very tough figure to make look good due to the design but I think you nailed it.

very cool custom man. a great update to his V1 counter part. i wish hasbro would keep with the 25th style just to finish off the 80s.
