Decided to do a little upgrade on my USS Flagg Aircraft Carrier custom. In this shot you can see the stop block I added
under the Skystriker's landing gear. Also, I finally glued
down a lot of the accessories (gun emplacements, and
3 of the oil barrels and the tower).

Speaking of the tower, I did some upgrades there too...
Added a new gantry for Admiral Ledger to stand on and
command the crew. Also added new radar gear, a missile
launcher, and a new flag on the top. The radar globe is
from a Taco Bell happy meal. The rest are various RoC
parts from the Pit and other accesssories. The gantry is
made from figure stands and popsickle sticks. The
colored "GI Joe" emblem is cut from a Joe package
(ironically, the Crimson Guard 5-pack)

Another look at the tower from the flight deck. The
"99" on the side is a printout, glued on. You can also
see some of the wire work I did on my Rattler and Cobra
helicarrier above my Cobra base in the background.
I also added some drywall to the sides of the conning
tower to make it less fire-house like. (it used to be
a spider-man firehouse)
Image

Redid the interior of the tower too. Added a large
computer console using a part from the Pit and a
part from the same Taco Bell meal. Added images
from JoeDios and various other sources on the net.

Image

Added launching struts for my Sharc Mk II ship, so it can
launch off the side.

Just another shot from above...

Here was a big change... I sawed off part of the underhull
and painted it all the same dull grey. I plan to upgrade the
interior underhull during Upgrade #2, but I'm not quite sure
how to do it just yet or what to include.

A closer shot of the Admiral and Shipwreck on the
gantry:

Last shot for now: did a little edit w/ Paint to see how it could look in the water (no it doesn't float).

Wow, I almost like this BETTER than the real Flagg! :)

Lol, great job. Funny about 2 1/2 years ago after we built our house I bought a Flagg as a coffee table for my basement rec room and that was what brought on the current resurge in my Joe / Custom / figure addiction!!

Using those figure stands like that is an awesome idea. Love it.
