There are many tales throughout galactic history of an enigmatic being (or possibly beings) known only as "The Doctor".

Accounts of "Doctor" sightings stretch from before the Great Sith War to recent events in the New Republic's existance.

No one knows who "The Doctor" is, or where he (they) come from.

What is known is that he appears at times of great upheaval and, against even the greatest of odds, always sets things right.

Throughout history, descriptions of "The Doctor" vary greatly (sometimes a doddering old man, sometimes a tall curly-haired man with an extremely long scarf, sometimes a rude gentleman in a garishly colored jacket, etc.), leading some scholars to believe that the honorific "The Doctor" may be a title handed down from individual to individual while others claim that he is the same man reborn time and again throughout eternity, each time with a different appearance. He is thought by these scholars to be one of the legendary "Timelords Of Gallifrey", although serious scholars dismiss them as purely mythical creations.

Sometimes "The Doctor" appears alone, sometimes with a strange assortment of travelling companions in extremely odd clothing.

Whoever "The Doctor" is, this lonely wanderer appears to be a powerful force for good in the universe.

I like it. Good use of the Face figure. Personally I would have sculpted over the peg holes in the shoulders but that's just me being picky. I'm not a fan of the David Tennet Doctor (the Eccleston version being my flavor of choice) but this is a great representation of him in 1:18 scale. Clean and simple and well done.

I have been looking for a David Tennant head! Where did you find it? Where did you find a 1/18th Tardis?

I like what you did here with the Doctor. The figure as a cartoonish look which I like, because I would love to see a cartoon version of Doctor Who. You have done a great job with the custom and the sonic screw driver is fantastic.

Thanks everyone!

I was going for the Doctor's comic book coloring as I love the vibrant blue of the suit so that lends a bit to the "cartoony" aspect, but that's what I was going for ;)

The Tennant head was from Tri-Gate's earlier incarnation (name escapes me at the moment), which I got in a trade on another forum after posting my 9th Doctor awhile back. The body is "Face" from the "A-Team" with the front pocket flaps and tie made from action figure bubble packaging, feet are ROC Stormshadow.

The TARDIS is an original Dapol 3 3/4" scale toy from the late 80's/early 90's that I just scored this weekend on ebay after wanting one for almost 20 years :)

There ARE "Doctor Who" cartoons, there were 2: "The Infinite Quest" and "Dreamland". They are both written very well, but "Dreamland" is poorly animated, it looks like a PS2-era cut-scene from a video game.

Wow. I just love that Doctor custom. It really captures the feel of the 10th Doctor. Doesn't matter that it is a bit cartoony, that just adds to the greatness of this custom. Fantastic!

Wild rendition, and it is always great to see a Dapol Tardis in any shot.

Not a fan of "The Doctor" but the customs is very good and the tennis shoes are a nice touch.
