Does anyone have any good resources for Photoshop effects? Specifically I am looking for Stargate 'water splashy thing' effects, but general flame, explosions, whatever effects are good to have too...

:D

I was just thinking about this on the drive home today -- some explosions would be awesome - and water-splashy-things would rock as well.

:shifty:

EDIT: - Nevermind http://wiki.joecustoms.com/wiki/Categor ... on_Effects

It'd be great to beef that section up, though - I wonder if any of our Dio-Story Gods can help us out?

Hey! On the other side of your Stargate IRIS should be a simulated event horizon. ;-)

But I hear you. I saved images from the show for when I had a mind to try a full on story. That, and the scene where they are actually traveling through the gate and kareening past the constellations.

Rock it as no one can J. Rock it as no one can.

That actual effect is a 3D generated, so I don't know how close Photoshop is going to be able to get to it.

But I'd start here:

This is for a fireball effect, but I think if you played with it in blue and white tones, it might work for that Stargate "Flush". :)
