I like the color scheme and the use of the Arctis SE leggs, nice touch now he looks like a Fire Fighter. |

Now this is exactly what I was talking about in your Frostbite thread: you took some modern parts, repainted them, and reworked some accessories to make an awesome-looking, production-quality figure. This guy definitely captures the flame-suit look but still has enough individual character that it's obvious who the figure is supposed to be. It would look right at home alongside a shelf of PoC figures (when they finally come out, that is). Nice work! I might have to try making one of these for myself... |

That is an amazing take on Barbecue...I've never really been a fan of the figure, but man, that guy looks great. You've kinda turned me around on him. Well played. |

BBQ looks great even with those flaring out pants. He looks like a FF should, nice accessories as well. MY favorite of the bunch too that you've recently done, then Shockwave |

Really, really well done. Much better than the ROC exclusive. |

That is a very cool figure! My only critique would be that I would like to see the O2 tank on his back... It looks obstructive on his chest the way it is. Otherwise, a perfect firefighter figure! -Todd |

That's the best Barbecue I've ever seen - production or custom. |

I love it. Firefighters should always have a bulkier look. |

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm really glad you like him. Like I said, he's definitely my favorite of my PoC-inspired customs so far. Today, I picked up a Clone Wars Firefighter Droid (This guy: http://www.brianstoys.com/store/Product ... TERDROIDC9). I'll be replacing BBQ's foam gun and backpack with the Droid's backpack and hose. I'll snap a pic as soon as I can. Here is the recipe for anyone who is wondering: Head, axe, backpack, hose, gun: 25th Barbecue Torso, arms, hands: RoC Arctic Snake Eyes Legs: RoC Ice Viper Vest, air tank: RoC Eel Fire extinguisher: Playmobil OB |
