Over a year ago, Night Force Cynic called me up and challenged me to make this figure. It took me a while to get arround to it, though here it is.
I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Funny you should mention that. This custom has a dual purpose, Zanzibar in my Joeverse and Zanzibar as a member of the crew of space pirates in my space based universe. (based on a rpg game I ran for friends off and on for last decade.)

he does look like he belongs with the starjammers. You did a good job on him, the only thing is the flesh tones are off it looks like. You did a good job and lets see some of those other 15 customs

I spent about an hour trying to mix a match to that body color and that was as close as I got. At one point I thought I had actually matched it till I got it in sunlight to take the pics. At that point I said, meh would have been close enough for hasbro... :rotfl:

Thanks!
Oh and if you could IM me a link to your Zanzibar I would like to check it out.
(I am still waking up so I might have overlooked it if it was in the link in your signature.)

I never owned a Zanzibar as a kid, though had tons of joes. NFC is the main reason I made this and glad he challenged me to do so. I am really happy how he turned out.
Since that chest armor is removable I am almost tempted to mildly lighter skin tone underneath to give the effect he wears it too much when out and about pirating... though I figure it might not turn out looking right.
