Hi, sorry that I dont post here much, but I havent stopped customizing. Also very sorry about these pictures, they all either have too much light or not enough

First is Sam and Twitch, who all I know about is that they are detectives from the spawn comics, which I have never read. I just thought they would be fun to have.
Image

Next is Superman, nothing really special
Image

Here are the first in a series of Batman customs
Batman
Image

Huntress, in a less revealing outfit
Image

the Joker, who my bad pictures dont show off very well
Image

and Catwoman
Image

Next is a Predator inspired by Onyx, really liked his so I ordered some of the Mcfarlane sets( expect more!) Sort of my own take on one, really happy with it
Image
Image

Here is a Beowulf, my own take, still needs a crown, sword, and belt, any advice?
Image

Here is a grown up Shorty from Indiana Jones.
I thought I read somewhere that he was sent to boarding school, so I made up that he caused too much trouble there, so he was sent to military school, where he excelled, and later joins Indy
Image

Thats all for now, I had some Joes done, but the pictures were worse than these. Once again, sorry for the bad pictures.
Comments appreciated, thanks in advance.

Grown-up SHORT ROUND is awesome.

All are really great customs, super job on them all.

Grown up Shorty is just a brilliant idea for a custom and you executed it very well.

The Pred looks cool, is that Night Adder's legs ? How does he measure up to a Joe ?

As for Beowulf, maybe use the crown from that skeleton of Montezuma :-/

Keep up the great work.

Absolutely cool.

I'm diggen all the customs.
Superman looks Latin or Samoan ... which I kinda like. I also have the same recipe based sprayed on my work table.
Huntress... cool too.

I really like the Beowulf custom I also have this one in the works based on a comic where he's in the modern world this looks a lot like that.

As a Pred maker my self it's cool to see others taking on the challenge.

Great idea and such an easy custom to copy. Consider him stolen.

:wow: What an interesting and utterly unique idea. I've got extras of that head, so I'm writing this recipe down...

EDIT:

Just really saw the old skool baseball cap.

Dude, I think I'm gonna cry now. That's just so awesome....

Great batch of customs for sure.

Yeah, Short Round is the show stealer. Supes looks good. I'm kind of in the minority I think, of liking Superman to be well built but not gigantic. His strength doesn't come from his size, per se. So this is one I dig. I'm not a fan of the Channing head, but it works here. I need to start looking at my extras of that head for their customizing potential, if I can make it look different from the actor.

I dig Bats as well. What head is that? I wondered if it was a modified Guardian head, which I am considering for my own Batman upgrade.

The design for your Huntress is also very stealable.

My only real critique in the lot is on Beowulf. I like the concept, but the mods to the chest armor leave him looking a little bumpy still. Not sure if that's sculpting material not smoothed out, or dremel work (which I know is tough to even out). If the armor had a more smoothly rounded look to it, I'd dig where you are going with it for sure. Normally, I might not even bother pointing this out, but your other customs show me you have the skill to make it even better, and I know I like being pushed in that way personally.

I was thinking about Superman after I posted. He reminds me of someone playing the *role* of Superman instead of being Superman. I was gonna suggest finding a Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson WWE head and swapping it out. Then you have the SNL Superman...

wow, thanks for the comments everyone. I didnt realize that the shorty would get as many comments as it did, although it did come out better than expected (clean paint apps)

JBYRDD: Yep, Night Adder was the entire body. I just added the predator bits to it. Didnt want to add the fishnet, because looking at the statue I took the armor from just looks really creepy. All fishnet and no armor. He is a good size, taller than night adder b/c the head is taller. I will try to get a comparison picture later.

None of that was really intentional, this head was all I had that fit on the body fine. By the way, it's a Resolute Duke head, just modified a little.

On Huntress, just wanted to figure out what to do with a .99 cent baroness, and figured she would be easy enough to do.

Beowulf is still sorta a wip, I just got tired of working on him (started him as soon as the PoP figure came out) probably should smooth out the armor, and like I said, still looking for a belt

interesting that it's a Res. Duke head. I swear I see a resemblence to the ROC head. Wonder if they were trying to sculpt in a resemblence to Tatum even then? I think the face itself looks very similar.

Thinking on Supes here, it reminds me a bit of the Dean Cain look, from Lois & Clark.

While all of these are really cool customs, I think Huntress is my personal fave. Great work on these.

Impressive set of customs there, and of course some favorites.

Love that Predator and Short Round. I also though about using the PoP body for my Beowulf, but I just can't get behind the fact that every time I tried to move the legs, one would come off in my hand. I tend to build them with play in mind. Good head to use. Me, I am using the Darth Drayt head, with some woodburning done to texture the beard. That way I can get the righteous ponytail.

Again, great round of work. The more I see that PoP gate, the more I am finding ideas for using one.
