No disrespect intended toward Chief and his awesome Batman custom http://www.joecustoms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=216&p=2381#p2381.

In fact, if I hadn't seen that, I might never have finished this.

We took different routes but, I think, were clearly trying to acheive the same thing.

Hope mine turned out as cool as his.

Awesome! This is the reason I bought my Kinnikuman in the first place, but I thought the legs looked a little too stubby, so I never finished my "Wrasslin' Batman". Obviously I was mistaken about the leg proportions judging by your finished product. And I'll bet the MM fig holds a paintjob better than MLS Magneto, too ;)

Looks great!

I like him. That first picture makes it look like he's stretching before his exercise class :)

Nice work, Ray.
Now I gotta get my Batman finished (that I started like a month ago).

I like both versions, of the Dark Knight, but I think this on looks more like what is seen in the Superman/Batman series. I love this look.

Quick question... Did you dye the figure or paint him up?

I actually did both.

After selecting the right Microman parts (lower arms and legs from Robin Mask, rest of the body from whatever the big pale Kinnikuman guy's name is), I dipped them in black RIT dye for about two minutes. The lower arms and legs came out a nice gray, but the rest had a brownish tint I didn't like. So I had to hit the whole shebang with some gray spray paint. Not sure if it was the pre-treatment with the dye or what, but I've never had such perfect coverage on a Microman (or any figure, really).

Glad you dig the results.

Cool... I had the blonde dud set aside with no set person in mind. Now, I do. Thanks.
