After more than 2 years I finally finished the last level of my display rack. This is my "water", "ocean" level or whatever you want to call. Due to the sets I used I decided to call it Pacific Islands Battle.

First let me show you the GI Joe HQ, I already showed a few years ago what I did for Cobra's so it makes sense to start from there.

I used a Pirates of the Caribbean set as base. Took out what I had to take and added/modded several things.

And now some photos of the entire level finished. As you can notice I used the bottom section as an ocean bottom. Basically that section was of no used but I decided to make use of it. Added a base with some sand on it, some rocks, dolphins and sharks, elevated the glass shelf and that was it. The divers inside are actually suspended. I used a fish string with some magnets and hooks combination. Anyway enough talking.

I completely admire the scope and scale of the effort. I like the function and playability of the pieces.

That said, I am not sure that the pieces work together. It needs something, like a common paint scheme to tie it all together. Maybe weathering to make them all look like they come from the same environment?

But that said, I wouldn't change a part - they all serve a purpose.
