So...I'm not a Huge fan of Vintage 12" Joes, but I respect that they're what evolved into the GI Joe that I love... Adventure Team falls more in line with the way I like to think of GI Joe, I'm not opposed to the idea that there is a "non military" branch of GI Joe...It's reasonable and can allow for Members of Eco Warriors and Steel Brigade to switch in and out of combat and other roles. These Vehicles weren't really planned...You could call them a Happy Accident. I had intended on cleaning up and restoring/restickering the Tiger Sting...until I noticed the Rubbing Alcohol was taking off the Tiger Stripes as well as the sticker Residue. Joe Vehicles I like in a bare Bright Yellow + The Collector's Club releasing a Bright Yellow Adventure Team "LASER BLAST" = My inspiration to make them Adventure Team. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda. Order from CobraStickers.com...Boom. Let me know what you think. Adventure Sting??? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... G_7873.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... G_7876.jpg Adventure Fish??? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... G_7880.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... G_7883.jpg Adventure Paw/Ferret/Anything is better than a "LASER BLAST"??? I need to find some Ferret Stickers...All I have are the ones from the '06 Con Ferrets...and those stickers don't stick to anything. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... Not my cup o' tea from a collector interest standpoint but mad respect for the execution. These look like what we could expect from the next round of Club exclusives if they'd only reduce their price point enough for the product to sell. Great work. |

No offense to Spin, but these are my cup of tea, coffee, milk, beer, etc... all in one. Awesome. They look production. Everything is cool, but I want that Sting in a big big way. Seriously all it took was rubbing alcohol on the Tiger Sting followed by new stickers? /Heads off to ebay |

Spin Doctor wrote: Not my cup o' tea from a collector interest standpoint but mad respect for the execution. Honestly...not really mine either...but you just can't resist Serendipity. Odds are I'll sell these off. (Looks at drbindy ) Also I forgot this one:...Cause honestly, It's really a forgettable Vehicle. My other option on this one was to use the Red accessories from the 2001 Man-O-War repaint...I suppose that can wait until I have another all Black shell. I'd love for somebody (JRuben or CobraStickers) to make Repro Stickers for this Sub...it needs a little bit more to make it interesting. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... G_7890.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/ ... G_7888.jpg Country of Origin Flags/Stickers and GI Joe logos? I left them off because I didn't think they were needed? |

I'm really diggin' these as well - happy accident or not, they turned out perfectly. I think the "Adventure Paw" is my favorite -- followed closely by the sub. Awesome job! |

Nova, these are great. I love the exicution and production look of them. These are much better then the MC produced vehicles. |

I love, love, love these. Simplicity sometimes is always the best. Also, not having to paint yellow is great too. I'm kicking myself now for painting my Snow Cat yellow when I could've used a Tiger Cat. Heck, an AT Helicopter out the Dragonfly is doable to. Very sweet stuff for sure. |

Of the Tiger Force Vehicles I tried...the Tiger Cat gave me the most trouble...Not sure if it's just that one, or if it's the detail on the Vehicle, or what...but Trying to strip the Tiger Cat was a bear...at least compared to the other vehicles...and so it sits...unfinished in a bin. I have shells for the Tiger Shark and Tiger Fly (We'll see if I get to them)...but I'm really hoping to find a cheap Tiger Rat shell. Are Missiles out of line for the Adventure Team? I don't have a super solid Version of the Adventure team for myself...but as I was working on these vehicles...I couldn't help but think I should Replace the Missiles and Guns with nets and tranquilizer darts. Are "Tranquilizer Missiles" believable? |

Personally, My Adventure Team are still armed to the teeth. They just have a different agenda than the rest of my teams. Shoot me a pm on the Stinger btw. |

Adventure team test new weapons systems all the time! Besides, you never know when you'll need an HE missile to trigger an avalanche safely or detonate an old mine field. These vehicles are money! And the technique is gold, pun intended! |

Add me to the list of people applauding these wonderfully simplistic, yet filled to the brim with awesome, customs. As others have said they look production and fantastic job cleaning the stripes off of them. Never cared for Tiger Force stripes anyway. The yellow works much better in this application. drbindy wrote: nova wrote: Matthew wrote: Are "Tranquilizer Missiles" believable? My AT is based off of Sigma Force from James Rollins novels. Very educated military trained scientists that travel the world researching outstanding theories, conspiracies, and beating the baddies to the goal. They travel as scientist but bring the hurt when needed. |

quote]Are "Tranquilizer Missiles" believable?[/quote] I would like to agree that these look amazing! The colors are great...But as I was looking them over I was asking myself the same thing. I don't think missles are out of the question. But I do think these vehicals are ready for war! I think the tranqs, harpoons, and nets would put these over the top! But it seems I'm among a minority. |
