I love the new POC Beach Head, but he had a few areas that needed improvement. First I cleaned up the sloppy factory paint job on his mask. Then I repainted the off color brown camo on his arms an O.D. green as kind of a tribute to the original. The thing that bugged me the most was that he came with a side arm, but no holster. So I cut off the extra machine gun magazines on his leg and changed it to the M12 style holster I sculpted for Hunter Artworks. I really like the way the holster looks on him. If you want some for your figures just PM me and I will send you the link to Asphalt's online store, Hunter Artworks.

Gene,

I saw this on another site too, and I really dig it. Very appropriate changes, and while simple, they are extremely effective. The holster really looks good here too.

Great looking tweaks! I agree on all of the updates, but one you didn't mention, which everyone who has this new figure is aware of (at least I would hope they are) is that he needs another knife for the back sheath... I added a Resolute Duke's knife, since he doesn't have anywhere to carry it!

The sleeves bother me also. They painted them an almost flesh color. I also think the holster is a good idea. I don't like the exposed cable on the leg and may remove it from mine. It just doesn't seem practical and is a target for snags! In a real world scenario. Overall, Gene, I think you did well!

Because when there is a knife in it the handle gets in the way. So I just removed the sheath to use later on a different figure. These new knife and sheath sculpts are AWESOME! Makes the 25th leg mount sheath look like a ridiculous box.
