Haven't been here long and I'm still very much a rook in customizing. So, I thought I'd go ahead and post up a couple of my better customs to get some input. My apologies for the bad pictures. My camera is horrible, I just can't spare to get a better one at the moment. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

First up, Gambit. Closer to his original look with some slight variations.

Now, Mountie. Just a random thought to do with a leftover Sabretooth body. But now it kinda makes me want to make him an opponent. Still working on his baton.

Your customs look pretty good if you're just starting out...It's hard to see the details because the flash has blown so much of it out.

Don't use the on-camera flash...use other light sources.

Curious...what kind of camera you've got.

Looks like you've got enough resolution...you just need a little polish on your setup and settings.

Everything you need is right there, and you probably have the materials you need around the house to make yourself a light box/photo setup.

Personally, and it may just be my camera, but I don't use the Macro setting...To use it I need to be less than an inch away from my figure and getting the camera that close causes all sorts of shadows.

I'm really intrigued by the Mountie custom.

I was looking at it and wondering what I could use it for if I had it (my standard approach to anything that strikes my fancy).

Might make for a interesting 'Nok too...

I have an old Kodak EasyShare CX6200. I procrastinated forever about getting one and now I can't exactly afford it. But yeah, I'll check out that page. Should have known Jin would even have an article up on that.

Also, Mountie is one of the last ones I made. Gambit was one of the first. But I haven't even hit double digits in the number of customs I made, so yeah, still learning a lot.

Mountie was a tough one to make for me. But really fun. I'm almost sad he's finished. Here's the recipe if you're interested:

Head - 25th Hawk
Body - Wolverine Origins Sabretooth
Arms - Wolverine Origins Wifebeater Wolverine
Hands - ROC Hawk
Upper Legs - Build N Brawl Edge
Lower Legs - ROC Destro
