Be honest...I can take it.

It still needs decals. I'm thinking the 138th FW, Oklahoma ANG.

I like the grey! But what I like best is the detailing on the engines, cockpit, and what look to be scribed lines on the body and wings---looks a lot like what scale modelers do!

That is impressive. I really like the engine detailing and cockpit details as well.

Would you consider putting on a "shark's grin"?

Nice job

Be honest? About how freaking awesome it is? Makes me want to pick up another one just to give it an awesome paint job! Being in Oklahoma I agree with the idea of the markings.

Yeah, that's good stuff. The only thing that really needs to be changed is the pilot. :-(

Yeah, I need the 25th Anniversary "Capt. Ace" to really set it off.

Unfortunately, Squadron.com is out of the 1/32 scale OKANG decals....gonna have to wait until they have them in to continue.

I have another one that is destined to become another custom.

I'm finishing a Desert Fox and as soon as it's done, I'm moving on to convert another Cobra vehicle, a Rage, to an urban combat APC. I really need a lot of practice before I tackle that Republic Gunship.

That thing is beautiful, you did wonders to that plane. The internal details is just as fantastic as the external details. As for pilots, I would go with the Aces from the Ghoststriker X-16, since their outfit really sells the figure.

So that's what that plane is called. I have the same one in its green and brown camo with the shark decals and such, waiting to put it up for sale. Had no idea what its name was to start the look up. Thanks for that.

Are you going to ad some kind of sealer? That's the only thing I'd recommend, the gray looks dry and powdery compared to the rest. I think a sealer could bring it all together and make it look pretty sweet. I too like the detailed engines and stuff.

scale might be a little off, but this one would be perfect http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=MS481214

The 111th down in Houston? Well, that wouldn't be bad.

I was noticing their "ace in the hole" decal...

Even if you hadn't painted the body, the work on the engines alone is spectacular.
