Been working on these for awhile ( a LONG time) and finally finished them this week

First up is Blade, really want some advice on the head as I've been thinking about ordering the Wesley Snipes head from Slayer Design Studios. Want to change out the legs for a roc cobra commander, but dont have any extras right now

Hellboy, been working on this for awhile. Still need to make the right hand of doom, but dont have any ideas on how

Finally is Sgt. Slaughter, also a long time wip, been through a few different versions. Pretty happy with this one.

Co-sign on the blade heads, I have two (the classic O-ring head with the bared teeth, and the 25th style head with glasses)

These are all solid customs! I've seen the SDS Blade head used and it looks real good. Hellboy is awesome! What about modding Mutt's glove arm? Sarge looks real goo too.

Looks good so far. As far as Blade goes, just depends on which version your going for movie(Snipes) or tv(Kirk "Sticky Fingers Jones). Slayer has both heads & both torso's which both are great.

Wasn't there a Mezco Hellboy of the appropriate size? I think I've seen that used for the infamous Right Hand.

I really like Slaughter. What type of paint did you use and is the hat removable?

I used one a few years ago for my Hellboy custom. It works quite well.

You know, I realize that it isn't quite HB yet, but that's a great figure as is. These are all very nice.

Very well done.

Just a thought on the Right Hand of Doom...if you use Flexible Pipe you might be able to make an articulated RHoD.

Try and get a little bit more light from the front...like a desk lamp with a flexible neck...or even use your camera flash...just be far enough back that you don't blow out the pic.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I really appreciate them.

I guess that the next time I order from sds I'll get the snipes head.

G I Jac: I used one of the slayer design studios heads. I got it when they were still trigate creations, and no the head isnt removable. I used a mix of apple barrel and folk art paints on him, just the cheap stuff you find at craft stores.

Yeah, I knew that there is a figure of Hellboy already, but I only want hellboy from that set and I havent found one cheap enough for me yet. Before I knew about the production one, I ordered the Hellboy head from trigate. Took awhile to find the right parts for him, but I'm happy with this one.

nova: Thats a really cool idea for the right hand. Might have to try that. Also, I take my pictures on the bed :shifty: so I can use my reading light. Just didnt position it right for this shoot as I was in a rush.
