Issue #3 of the Freedom Fighters for DC introduces the next gen of an old character The Jester. His Grandfather was the cop turned vigilante The Jester. Now he plays a villian in FF.

No idea of the character, but the figure design is awesome.

Another pure win!!!!! Great job especially on the headpiece and paint apps. Always liked the original character Interesting to see they made a next gen villain version.

Speaking of Freedom Fighters, it just dawned on me that you had an Uncle Sam WIP at one point if I'm correct. (I recall the hat). What ever happened to that? It would be a nice bookend piece to this fig. Maybe I'm mistaken But I swear you started one awhile back. I remember the Black Condor and Ray as well. Very nice Freedom fighter figs you produce.

This looks spectacular! Definitely one of your best. Truly awesome work on a very obscure character.

Thanks all! The head is SW Palpatine.

Also yes I did start an Uncle Sam a while back after I had done Condor and Ray but only got as far as the hat and head and then scrapped it.

Here's pic I found. Think I can do a little better now lol.

One of my favorite things about the new FF stories has been how cool the updated designs are. I haven't read #3 yet, but I really dig the look of this guy, who makes for a great, creepy villain figure. Nice parts choice, sculpting and paints. Did you paint the pants too? That must have been extremely difficult.

How did you do the striping on the pants?

That head and jester hat is awesome. Great follow through on that character design.

That is a good start for Uncle Sam. You have to finish that one.

count me in on not knowing the specific character, but obviously being able to tell this is a high quality and menacing Jester anyway. Awesome work on the head. Creepy is damn right. And I'll also echo the question about the stripes. You don't often see customs with lines that freaking straight and clean.

Again thanks all. This was one of those that I started thinking I probably would not be able to pull the sculpt off, but got lucky on the first try lol. As for the pant stripes, sorry it took so long to get back on this one. The stripes are actually model decal tape. Any time that I now need to do long thin lines I typically use this method as it bonds to the figure and I am able to razor cut it at joints and then use Testors Gloss paints to close the gaps. In this particular case I had the best results I have had so far with this method.
