I started work on this quite a while back. I wanted a modern version of the 1982/1983 Snake Eyes figure, which the 25th version didn’t capture because it was based on the way he looked in the comic books.

I looked around on the web for ideas and found Eduardimus Prime’s version on the Hiss Tank forum. I learned about greenstuff casting from him. That’s how I copied the dynamite and leg pouches from the original figure. The lower legs are from 25th Flash, with some of the length trimmed off and the lower parts resculpted.

Since most people don’t like to imagine the commando version of Snake Eyes as a ninja, I just had to be anti-establishment:

That's the plan as soon as I get one. For now the vintage head is the next best thing.

If there's a character that's been overdone to death, it's Snake-Eyes.

So it takes quite a lot to make a SE figure stand out, but you've done it. Casting the parts from the original truly makes this figure have a bit of magic.

Nice work!
