Post subject: | Commissioned Custom for Stir Crazy (Detroit Music Producer) |
Some time ago a post was made in the market place on this site; "Will pay for Custom" viewtopic.php?f=21&t=20717&p=222512#p222512 The member is Stir Crazy (not from the Gene Wilder film) he is a music producer from Detroit, Michigan. I contacted Stir Crazy about bring his character to three dimensional life. Instead of the 1:18th scale GI Joe, I opted for a !:12th scale Marvel style figure with real cloth clothing. This is one of my favorite commissioned customs because it was made for a celebrity, yes Stir Crazy is famous. Check out his work at http://www.stircrazy.bandcamp.com/ Here are the picks. Not only did I custom make the figure, but I created a custom card art and displayable keyboard/ turntable with speakers. Attachment: Attachment: Figure: Marvel Legends Silver Surfer Straight Jacket- WWE Raven Hat- unknown Pants & bandanna- hand made from cloth Shackles- 1:12th scale braclets, chain made from small rings link by hand and Stir Crazy logo sculpted with steel weld epoxy. Timberland boots- sculpted with epoxy and metal rings for eyelets Synthesizer- keyboard ornament epoxy and random parts Speaker- hand made from wood. Packaging- Mego carded figure protect case I contacted Stir Crazy for to know if I could post the image since he owns the rights to the character and design. more info about Stir Crazy, http://www.deadby28.net/spp/bio.html |

That is sweet. You nailed all of the cool details. I assume he's fully posable? |

I am glad that you can see the level of detail that I put into this. The best feature is the handsculpted "S" logo on the shackles. |
