Looks similar to the PTE one, cool work on it. |

It looks good, with nice detail, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Concrete walls on top of a metal lattice work? How would such a thing be constructed IRL? |

Pretty much just like that with reenforced steal walls instead of concrete. The military loves its metal lattice structures because they can be built quickly. Lots of variables like how permanent the structure is, weather conditions, purpose, etc. The PTE tower had a rope ladder. You could go that route with your coffee stirrers. You could use a strip of some chicken wire fencing. Maybe a garage sale fire truck. Plastistruct makes RailRoad diorama stuff. I bet they have a ladder or steps that will work. And then there is the Flagg stair ladders. Should be able to get a lot of them on ebay and piece them together. |

Looks cool! I like the job you did on the concrete part the the structure particularly, which you have done a great job with. Kudos! -Todd |

Damn! Wood putty with a wash on it is the best concrete I've seen. Really, really impressive and inventive. |

Thanks I appreciate all the good comments. I built this thing and it sat around bare for a few months. I was originally cover the top with sand bags, but I got tired of making the sandbags with sculpey. I eventually thought up this technique and finished it. |

Looks nice, but you might want to add a roof to it. |

For a cheap and effective rope ladder, you could rip out the string ladder from a Venetian blind. I used to use them for rope ladders when I was younger and they fit well with the Joes. Just check with neighbors whom are remodeling their home and see if they are throwing out their old blinds. Also, the pull cords are great Joes scaled ropes. |

I figured out the ladder by cutting a strip off a plastic dollar store basket. |
