oh wow. Best Doc Ock ever? I think so.

Gotta tell you, I've wanted something like this for a really long time, then by the time the parts became available from the Spider-man line, I wasn't feeling nearly as inspired.

This ought to do the trick on turrning that inspiration around.

Thanks man. Means a lot coming from you. The hardest part was the mech legs. Took me two days to cut, piece, and reinforce them so he could stand on them unassisted.

Very cool and great work! Have to agree, one of the best I've seen!

Uh, yeah... not at all what I was expecting when I clicked the link. Is this an original design or based on appearance somewhere? Either way... WOW.

Thanks guys. To answer questions:

Dan, he isn't inspired by any particular appearance. More an amalgamation of the darker sides of Ock.

JoeM, it's actually a MU Reed Richards torso and arms with the waist piece from the Doc Ock figure added.

That is awesome. I really love what you did with the legs. You brought back the scary mad scientist aspect of that character.

Thanks Pluv, that's what I was going for. Glad to know it worked.

The custom itself is fantastic. Extremely well executed and just flawless as far as I can tell.

But the fact the design is your own somehow makes it even better.

Pudge-less Doc for the win! Seriously though he looks more menacing in this version. The real version, kind of like the Penguin, make me chuckle a bit.
